Mental Health Clinicians, Our Team

Welcome: Aimee Moore, MS, APCC

Hey there! Are you ready to see what we have in store for 2022?

That’s right! After a long year of preparation in 2021, we are kicking off the new year officially as a group therapy practice!

As of January 7th, 2022, we welcome Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, Aimee Moore, to our Tailwinds Therapy team!

Aimee will be working part-time under the supervision of Caitlin Lowry, LMFT providing sessions in office and online as she continues her final hours towards becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.

Aimee joins us as an educator, turned therapist, with a passion for working with couples, individuals and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. She was raised in Colorado and began her career as a high school teacher before finding her true passion in helping others lead happier, healthier, lives.

Aimee graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2019 with her Master’s in Professional Clinical Counseling. She joins us with over two years of experience as a community-based mental health clinician serving children and families within the child welfare system. Her work experience has provided her opportunity to deepen her understanding of complex trauma and attachment wounds.

As a trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, Aimee provides a safe and culturally competent space for every client she serves. In addition, Aimee has a passion for helping couples find healthier ways to communicate and deepen their connections. She has completed Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 Training with aspirations to become a fully-certified Gottman Therapist.

As Aimee steps into joining our group therapy practice, she has immediate openings to begin seeing couples and individuals (ages 14+) both in office and online.

Aimee describes herself as:

“A compassionate, culturally-competent and self-driven Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who is committed to improving the well-being of clients. I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices to build a safe environment so each client feels important, understood and cared for.”

We are so glad to have you, Aimee! Welcome to the Tailwinds Therapy team!
